Step Up for the Park

Step Up for the Park is Fort Greene Park Conservancy’s spring fundraiser, celebrating movement and mental health activities in the park. This year, we set an ambitious goal to raise $125,000 to keep our summer community events free, our historic trees cared for, and our lawns green and clean.

Not only did this neighborhood answer the call but you completely blew past the finish line.

Thanks to an incredible final push, we officially raised a grand total of $135,103!

Whether you gave $10 or $10,000, forwarded our emails to a friend, or helped us unlock our $25,000 Board match, you made this happen. The next time you are sitting under the trees, watching a movie on the lawn, or just walking your dog, take a look around and note that this place looks and feels the way it does because of you.

From all of us at the Conservancy, thank you for taking care of the park we all use every day.

Thanks to all who joined us for our Community Fitness Event! Whether you broke a sweat or cheered us on, you made this year's Step Up for the Park Fitness event an incredible success.

Over 130 of you showed up and brought the energy! We also owe a massive shoutout to our amazing partners for keeping us moving and refreshed: Chelsea Piers Fitness, Crunch Gym, Shala Yoga, Culture Pop, and Brooklyn Football Club.
