Prospect Park Alliance, Fort Greene Park Conservancy, and Rooftop Films announce Summer Movies in the Park, presented by NewYork-Presbyterian. This free, outdoor movie series in Prospect Park and Fort Greene Park takes place on Wednesday nights this summer, with screenings on August 5th and August 12th in Prospect Park, and August 26th and September 9th in Fort Greene Park.
This iconic live-action movie features NBA superstar Michael Jordan, who is recruited by Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes, the Tune Squad, for a high-stakes game against an evil theme park owner and his minions, the Monstars, in outer space.
The films will begin shortly after sundown; come early to picnic and enjoy pre-movie entertainment. Please note that the movie may be cancelled in the case of inclement weather. Attendees will be notified via Eventbrite and the Prospect Park and Fort Greene Park social media channels.
