Poetry in the Park 2026: Planting What We Want to See invites us to gather, dream, and grow the futures we long for together. Through poetry, performance, and hands-on workshops inspired by the living beauty of the park, we’ll reflect, imagine, and plant seeds of hope, healing, and possibility, tending what we want to flourish in our lives and our communities.

Poetry in the Park is organized by the Fort Greene Park Conservancy and curated in partnership with Najee Omar. It provides the opportunity to participate in poetry workshops, be part of a supportive environment during our Open Mic session, and enjoy poetry performances. Poetry in the Park will feature the following poets: Felicia Cade, Tiffany Curtis, Magenta Acquaye, Stephanie Pacheco, JRose, and Karl Michael Iglesias.
