Environmental Justice Fellowship Program

The Environmental Justice (EJ) Fellowship program is an ongoing initiative designed to support emerging leaders in environmental justice through hands-on experience, mentorship, and research in Fort Greene Park.

The Environmental Justice Fellowship is a year-long, paid opportunity for early-career professionals to engage deeply in Fort Greene Park Conservancy’s community-centered environmental work. The fellow will gain new perspectives from community analysis through an independent research project.

Each year, the program will welcome a new Fellow who will play an important role in our mission to enrich and nurture Fort Greene Park, supporting park stewardship and programming, such as Green Team, our teen environmental education program, while also leading their own research grounded in the park and the surrounding community.
