On September 13, one film will be shown in various locations throughout all five boroughs. The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment has teamed up with chief film critics A.O. Scott and Manohla Dargis of The New York Times to choose 5 great films all shot in NYC. New Yorkers voted throughout August and the winner is... Crooklyn!
Spike Lee's warm, witty film celebrates childhood in Brooklyn in the 70s. Bring your blanket and pack a picnic to watch the movie in the borough it celebrates.
Movie will be shown on the Myrtle Avenue lawn. Closest entrance on Myrtle & North Portland Avenues. Movie begins at sunset.
