Join Fort Greene Peace in a local celebration of ethnic diversity and acceptance of all people on World Refugee Day, June 20. All are welcome to this family friendly, free event in celebration of ethnic diversity and acceptance of all people. And if you can, bring a favorite dish from your native country to share.
In addition to some music, kids activities and the pot luck, there will be bilingual “know your rights” for those in need and an introduction and an interactive “upstander” exercise for “allies” of immigrants and refugees.
