Time to dig out those wigs, cone collars, and all the velcro you can find! The 17th Annual Fort Greene PUPs Great PUPkin Dog Costume Contest is set for Saturday, October 31, 2015. Having the contest on the big day means we’ll probably have a more insane show than ever before. And possibly dozens of dogs dressed like Donald Trump.
The largest dog costume event in Brooklyn, put on by Fort Greene Park Users and Pets Society, will once again be held in conjunction with our very own Halloween Festival. Last year, we saw a record 124 costumed canines in the contest.
Registrations begin 11:00 a.m. at the top of the monument in Fort Greene Park; the contest will start at noon sharp at the bottom of the monument steps. Fort Greene PUPS will be glad to take your donation of $5.00 per entrant to help defray event costs (PA rental, supplies, etc). Larger donations are of course always welcome!
Rain date will be Sunday, November 1, same time and location.
